I needed sl1, sl2 and sl3 drivers installed and i had to uninstall and reinstall the entire software each time.The days of using manual turntables are over thanks to programs like Serato DJ, which allow you to transform your computer into all the DJing equipment you could ever need to mix and mash you own brand of music. once I did this the drivers remained while I uninstalled to install the next device. I recently added serato to a backup pc, and for some reason the only way I could get the drivers to install I had to delete the program, then reinstall with the new device connected. The answer is it depends on what serato hardware the club uses. Its my understanding that you would like to bring just your laptop with serato dj and use the clubs gear while leaving your controller at home, Correct ?
